The Institute of Internal Auditors, Singapore (IIAS) is a professional organization dedicated to the advancement and development of the internal audit profession in Singapore. Established in 1976 as a Singapore Chapter of The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc in USA, the IIAS was elevated to the level of a national institute in 1995 due to its rapid growth.
The IIAS has more than 1,800 members and its membership base is growing at a steady pace. Its members come from a diverse range of organizations and industries, including financial institutions, manufacturing and service companies, statutory boards and government-linked companies. Most of the leading listed companies are represented in our membership base.
The Institute of Internal Auditors Singapore (IIAS) holds regular educational events featuring speakers who are professional internal auditors and/or experts in fields related to internal auditing. We also present seminars and workshops on topics related to the practice of internal auditing.
We conduct exam reviews to prepare members for IIA certifications: CIA, CCSA, CFSA and CGAP. Exams are available all year round through Computer-Based Testing (CBT) at Pearson Vue.
The IIAS Library has more than 500 current publications relating to the practice of mainstream and specialized topics in internal auditing. We have several video CDs that are ideal for individual and group instruction that cover a wide range of internal audit related topics.
Besides a wide range of publications, The IIAS posts online information, messages and resources specifically on internal audit related matters in Singapore and the region. In addition our members receive the IIA Inc. publication, Internal Auditor, published on a bi-monthly basis.
